Spring 2016 registration opens on November 15th and a late fee will apply after December 18th for 9-12 year olds, except Challenger. A late fee will apply for younger and older players after January 11, except Challenger.

Palo Alto Little League administers ~80 Spring teams and 8 All-Star teams in 2 leagues (American and National), each with 9 separate Divisions: T-Ball (5-6 y/o), Coach Pitch (6-7 y/o, new 8 y/o), AA (8-9 y/o; machine pitch), AAA (9-10 y/o; first level of kid pitch), PCL (10-11 y/o; Minors), Majors (10-12 y/o), 50/70 (12-13 y/o) and Challenger (all ages).

BEGINNING THIS YEAR, participation in a skills evaluation IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS to be eligible for the PCL and Majors Divisions.

Combined Tryout Dates and Times for Ages 9-12:
(tryout slot of 1 hour selected upon registration)

Location: Tryouts will be held at the indoor facility listed below:

Redwood City, CA


  • AGE 12: 1/2, 1/3, 1/9, 1/10 - 8-11am
  • AGE 11: 1/2, 1/3, 1/9, 1/10 - 11am-2pm
  • AGE 10: 1/2, 1/3, 1/9, 1/10 - 2-5pm; 1/23 8-11am
  • AGE 9: 1/23 11am-5pm

To make or change a scheduled tryout session, go to http://tryouts.pabaseball.org and login using an e-mail address and password associated with your registration account.

Rain make-ups will be scheduled if needed.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: The field at Middlefield Ballpark is closed. Please do not use the field for baseball or other activities. This is an important time for restorative maintenance to improve the field for the Spring season. Thank you.

NOTICE: In November 2014, the PALL Board decided to amend the allowable bat rule for 2015. Any Little League approved bat is allowed for play in Majors. A PDF list of approved bats is available on the National LL website here.

Community Meeting was held March 27th, 6-8 PM at Fairmeadow Elementary School in the Multi-Purpose Room

Representatives from Verizon Wireless and Palo Alto Little League were there to present the plans and latest details and answer questions.
