I joined the board because Palo Alto Little League brings so much joy to my family, and is an important institution in the community. I wanted to do my part to make it the best community possible.
Baseball and Little League are meaningful to my family because more than any other sport, Baseball seems to represent a fresh start every year.
There is nothing better than freshly cut outfield on a spring morning. Our family has looked forward to Opening day for over 8 years now, and look forward to many more years to come.
My favorite memory is as a Little League coach, when one of my players hit their first home run on one of the last games of their LL career, it was a moment that brought him, myself, and half the bench to tears of joy and excitement. Seeing kids come together to support each other and get excited for their successes is worth all the time we put in as coaches.
