Palo Alto Little League formally opens its 2025 spring season with a jampacked day of fun, food, music, games, and baseball at Palo Alto’s Middlefield Ballpark on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

The day starts at 10:00 a.m. with the traditional parade of Palo Alto Little League and Ravenwood Little League teams onto the playing field. The highlight for many of the younger kids is to meet with and to be on the big field with the Little League Majors players.

League president, Saxon Noh will welcome the players and their families and introduce the special guest speaker–former Stanford and NFL All-Star quaterback Andrew Luck. Previous speakers include Christian McCaffery, Stanford baseball head coach David Esquer, former S.F. Giant pitcher Noah Lowry, former Stanford and NFL players Kevin Anderson and Stefan Taylor, and the voice of Stanford sports and former Stanford basketball player John Platz. It’s a chance to hear from and possibly meet a local legend.

Carnival games—speed pitching, basketball shooting, football toss, and more—will open at 11:00 a.m. Prizes include bats, gloves, and private baseball lessons. As always, the Middlefield Ballpark Snack Shack will be open with its flavorful menu of tri-tip sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, rice bowls, shakes, and the list goes on.

Throughout the day, there will be DJ musical entertainment, and Al from PALL, the Palo Alto Little League mascot, will be available for photo ops.
