Former Palo Alto High School standout and Palo Alto Little League alumnus Henry Bolte reached the big leagues this week, making his MLB debut for the Athletics on May 13.
Bolte wasted no time making an impact. He went 2-for-2 in his debut, recorded his first MLB RBI, drew a walk, and flashed his athleticism with a diving catch in center field. At 22 years old, the former second-round draft pick continues an incredible rise from Palo Alto youth baseball to Major League Baseball.
Bolte was a member of the Bike Connection team that won the 2016 PALL City Championship. He is known for his speed, power, and energy on the field; Bolte was one of the Athletics’ top young prospects after a dominant start to the 2026 season in Triple-A Las Vegas.
From Palo Alto Little League fields to the MLB stage—congratulations to Henry on an unforgettable debut.
