Long time PALL Majors managers Mark Burton (Agile) and Gene Gordon (Hengehold) are squaring off against one another on May 17 for the right to take on undefeated Bike Connection in the Palo Alto City Championship game. Burton and Gordon have been competing against one another since 1997, and both are looking for their first City Championship. Both managers’ kids are long gone from PALL, but Mark and Gene continue to contribute time, energy, expertise, and inspiration to youth baseball in Palo Alto.
