PALL is resurrecting the Hit-a-Thon! It’s an opportunity for PALL players to have fun, to display their skills … and to raise money for the league. The Snack Shack will be open, music will be playing, and the kids will have a blast.

On Sunday, May 15, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each participating player will have the opportunity to hit pitches as far as possible. They will raise money for the league and earn prizes based on individual and team fundraising levels. A prize will be awarded to the player in each age group who hits the ball the farthest.

PALL is the only league in its Little League district that owns and maintains its own field. Celebrating its 70th year, Middlefield Ballpark is the district’s pride and joy, and PALL wants to make sure Palo Alto kids continue to enjoy it and have the best experience possible.

PALL’s biggest operating costs are field maintenance and equipment (PALL also supports city-owned fields, including Greer and Hoover). Proceeds from the Hit-a-Thon will offset many of those costs and fund enhancements and improvements to the fields.

Every player should have received a unique fundraising page. The player’s pages are also available by using this link and searching for the player’s name.

The league is shooting for 100% participation, so no amount is too small. Below is the schedule for the Hit-a-Thon.
