By winning the last game of the season, Alhouse created a four-way tie for first place in PALL’s PCL division–and created headaches for league officials trying to complete the seeding for the postseason tournament.

The league’s tie breaker rules awarded first place to State of Mind Slice House and second place to Say Hey baseball—both teams earned first round byes in the PCL postseason tournament. Ada’s Café, the fourth team in the logjam at the top of the standings placed third, and Alhouse had to settle for fourth place.

The PCL double elimination tournament starts on May 6 with a doubleheader at Middlfield Ballpark. The championship game is on May 18 or May 20.
