2025 Fall Ball registration fees

  • 13- to 16-year-olds (Juniors and Senior Leagues): $350
  •  11- and 12-year-olds (Cactus League): $300
  •  6- to 10-year-olds (Cape Cod and Rookie Leagues): $200

Birthdates between 9.1.2012 and 8.31.2019 (6- to 12-year-olds): register here.

Birthdates between 9.1.2010 and 8.31.2012 (13- and 14-year-olds): register here.

 

 

 

  1. The Fall Ball program is a developmental league for the following year's Little League spring season–it is not an extension of the prededing year's spring season.
    1. A player’s 2026 Little League age is determined by the player’s age on August 31, 2026
  2. Fall Ball is a community-based instructional league, and it is not as competitive as the Little League spring season. The goals of Fall Ball are to
    1. Have fun
    2. Develop skills for the spring season  
  3. Registration fees are $350 per player for 13- through 16-year-olds ; $300 per player for 11- and 12-year-olds (and for 10-year-olds playing in the Cactus League); and $200 per player for 6- through 10-year-olds. If late registrations are allowed, there is an additional $100 late fee assessment.
    1. Registration opens July 1, 2025
    2. Registration closes September 1, 2025
  4. Player’s assignment to a division is based on the player’s 2026 Little League age, i.e., player’s age as of  August 31, 2026 
    1. Ages 13 through 16 (born between 9.1.09 and 8.31.13)–Juniors and Seniors
    2. Ages 11 and 12 (born between 9.1.13 and 8.31.15) and age 10 who played at the PCL or AAA level in the 2025 spring season–Cactus League (Majors/PCL)
      • Placement on a Fall Ball Cactus League team does not guarantee that the player will be placed on a spring 2026 Majors team.
    3. Ages 8 through 10 (born between 9.1.15 and 8.31.18)–Cape Cod League (Minors–machine pitch transitioning to player pitch as the season ends)
      • 8-year-olds with at least one year of spring season Coach Pitch play may register for the Cape Cod League
    4. Ages 6 through 8 (born between 9.1.17 and 8.31.20)–Rookie League (Coach Pitch)
      • 8-year-olds with limited experience should register for the Rookie League
  5. There are no Fall Ball Intermediate League, T-Ball, Wiffle Ball, or Challenger divisions.

  6. Fall training camps will be held for all 6- to 12-year-old players with the following schedule.
    1. Cactus League (ages 11 and 12): two sessions per week; one hour on Tuesday and ninety minutes on Saturday; starting August 23–participation in the fall training camp is required of all wishing to play in the Cactus League
      • Following Fall Ball registration, Cactus League players should register for camps here–separate registrations for Fall Ball and training camp are required
    2. Cape Cod League (ages 8 and 10): one seventy-five-minute session in either Wednesday or Thursday; starting  August 23
      • Following Fall Ball registration, Cap Code League players should register for camps here–separate registrations for Fall Ball and training camp are required
    3. Rookie League (ages 6 through 8): one sixty-minute session on Saturday; starting on August 23
      • Following Fall Ball registration, Rookie League players should register for camps here–separate registrations for Fall Ball and training camp are required
  7. Evaluation dates for Junior and Sneiors players are to be determined.

  8. Cactus League teams will be formed by September 4, and practices start on September 8.

  9. Cape Cod and Rookie League teams are primarily school- and friend-based. The teams are formed by the player agents and league officials during the final week of camp. The considerations for Cape Cod and Rookie team formations are
    1. Team balance
    2. Friend requests (not guaranteed)
    3. School teams
  10. Generally, there is one weekday and one Saturday game scheduled for every team, every week, starting on September 27.
    1. Games end no later than October 23.
  11. The Cactus League season concludes with a one-day jamboree on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

  12. All games and practices end by October 25, 2024.
