2018 Opening Day
Don’t miss out on one of Palo Alto Little League’s best traditions. Each year, the entire league gathers in uniform at Middlefield Ballpark to celebrate a new season of baseball, friends, and community. It is a terrific experience for kids of all ages to see and feel that they are a part of something big.

Food and Drink to keep you warm and well-fed:
- Hot dogs, burgers, the world-famous Tri-Tip Sandwich and other food and drink options from the Middlefield Ballpark Snack Shack
- Coffee and meat pies from coffee cart
Parking:
There will be no parking at Middlefield Ballpark for this event – please share a ride, walk or bike. Limited parking will be available in the Mitchell Park parking lot or in the Challenger School parking lot (3880 Middlefield Road at the corner of Charleston); leave ample time to park if you will be driving.

2018 Guest Speaker: David Esquer, Stanford Baseball Head Coach
After 18 years coaching at Cal, Stanford Alum David Esquer returns to his home field. Esquer, who played shortstop on Stanford’s 1987 national championship team, is starting his first season as head coach on the Sunken Diamond.
